McRaaN launches community website dedicated to KITS Ramtek, Nagpur named as ‘Kitians.com’
The new online community website dedicated to KITS (Kavikulguru Institute of Science and Technology)-Ramtek located at Nagpur was officially launched on 5th March, 2010 and is named as www.kitians.com.
1. About KITIANS.com
A college is an ideal place for bridging gaps and building communication. Apart from your regular University studies, you also need to keep yourself well informed of the world and be abreast to the latest technological trends in science. And Internet is an indispensible, powerful and inexpensive tool to access a huge pool of information from across the globe. It has completely transformed the lives of technical people and virtually shrunk the world into a tiny planet of nodes and networks. www.Kitians.com is one such platform to network and build key life skills in addition to technical knowledge building. The website is aimed to bring about your innate creativity and express it via a number of channels through this website that we call communication.
www.Kitians.com has been the initiative of likeminded KITANs; idea jointly conceived and implemented by Kiran Valipa Venkat of 95 Batch, CEO of Carbon & Color Productions and Jagadish Chandra Mamidi of 90 Batch, CEO of the software company, McRaaN Systems. “We want KITIANS to network, exchange thoughts, evolve creatively, express confidently and stay abreast with the latest; what we lacked at our times, we wanted to give it to our posterity at KITS”, they assert.
The idea is also to build an Alumni network that helps us KITIANs stay in touch with each other though they may be scattered across the globe. (You can find a KITIAN in every part of the globe, like saying - if you find aaloo and pyaaz at a place, you are sure to bump into a KITIAN!)
